A Study of Proximal Stability Following Change Upper Exremity Function of the Patients with Stroke

Abstract

|
Purpose: The purpose of the this study is to find out the effect of proximal stability foUowing change upper extremity
function of the patients with s¥òoke.
Methods: The subject of this study was a pa ent with stroke who has n treated in dep trnent of physical therapy, Bucheon-Korea Su Hospital 1. Evaluation tool were used Grooved pegboard, MFT, 9-holes pegboard test. For the four weeks the subject was treated 30 minutes per session, five times per week.
Results: The grooved pegboard test was increased from 13 pegs to 16 pegs, MFf test was increased from 62.5 score to 71.875 score, and 9-horIes pegboard test was decrease from 71 seconds to 62 seconds.
Conclusions: This study showed that proximal stability incr se would be affected the upper extremity function of the pastient with stroke.
